Experience the atmosphere of history at Frogner Manor. Each Wednesday you can join us for a guided tour in English. With roots dating back to the early Iron Age, Frogner is considered one of the earliest settled farms in the Oslo area.
Step inside the manor house and explore beautiful halls and rooms featuring interiors from 1750–1900. Learn about the history of the estate while discovering artworks, portraits, furniture, and landscape paintings from the collections of Oslo Museum.
Highlights of the tour include Bernt Anker’s ballroom from the 1790s, several portraits by Asta Nørregaard, and numerous 19th-century landscape paintings depicting Christiania.

Tickets: The guided tour is included in the regular museum admission ticket. Tickets can be purchased in advance and also include access to the museum’s other exhibitions.

Barnevogn kan parkeres inne på gårdstunet ved inngangspartiet til museet. Stellerom tilgjengelig. Utlån av barnetriller.
Demensvennlig museum
Alle ansatte i førstelinjetjenesten har gjennomført kurs i demensvennlig samfunn. Det pågår kontinuerlig utvikling av besøksarenaene og utstillingene i samarbeid med personer med fagkompetanse for å gjøre lokalene mer inkluderende, tilgjengelige og behagelige å oppholde seg i.
