Join us for an unforgettable weekend of traditional Norwegian Christmas activities for children of all ages. Sing carols around the Christmas tree in Frogner manor, make traditional Christmas decorations, and take part in fun activities that are guaranteed to create a festive Christmas spirit.

Creative workshops includes hobbyhorse crafting, painting, lantern decorating, simple Christmas crafts, keychain braiding, candle rolling, and more. The children can also join theatre performances, story times and traditional carol singing around the tree. The theatre performances, Christmas songs and stories will all be in Norwegian.

The museum café and shop are open, and hot beverages and traditional "sveler" are sold in Frogner manor.

Tickets

Most activities and workshops are included in the admission ticket, but some items cost extra to make (such as hobbyhorses and spruce wreaths, which can be purchased on-site). For activities included in the ticket, each child may make one item for free per station, so that supplies last for as many visitors as possible. If you wish to make more than one, this comes at an additional cost.

We recommend buying tickets online in advance, as the event may become fully booked, and to ensure a smoother entry process. When purchasing tickets at the door, there will be an additional charge of NOK 20 per ticket. If the event is fully booked, you will not be able to buy tickets at the door.
