All That Is Solid Melts Into Water tells a story about the development of hydroelectric power and encounters between modernity and traditional communities over the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

The exhibition brings together historical artworks, archeological artifacts and new commissions from contemporary artists – from Norway to Latin America, Sápmi to Nubia.

The exhibition is in two parts and is shown at the Intercultural Museum in Tøyenbekken 5 and Kunsthall Oslo in Rostockgata 4. The exhibition is curated by Mariam Elnozahy and Rado Ištok.

Welcome to the exhibition opening on Friday 28 April! We start at Intercultural Museum at 6pm before we move on to Kunsthall Oslo around 7pm. See Facebook event
